We look for pieces that do one thing properly. Not the cheapest version, and not the one with the longest feature list — the one that still looks right after a month of ordinary use.
Everything is organised by room, because that's how people actually shop. You're not looking for “lighting.” You're looking for something for the hallway, where you keep hitting the switch in the dark.
New pieces land most weeks. Anything that stops earning its place gets dropped.
